Poppyz has its own main website where the plugin is hosted and can be used by multiple websites. It takes care of all of the hosting features needed to run Poppyz. Users won’t have to pay for hosting, manager a webserver, or install and update plugins. Everything will be done on the main site so you can focus on building your own Poppyz website.
To add your own website, follow these steps:
- Register your domain. This topic is broad and can’t be fully explained in this tutorial. But here’s a link explaining on how to register your own domain. If you already have a domain, skip to step 2.
- Login to your domain registrar (where you bought your domain) account.
- Find the section for DNS. Depending on your domain registrar, this is usually named DNS Settings or Domain Name Server Setup.
- Add both of the following nameservers: ns1.socialmedium.nl and ns2.socialmedium.nl
- Once the nameservers have been updated, contact Poppyz so we can create your website using the domain you registered.
- Keep in mind that depending on the registrar, nameserver changes can take a couple of hours to 48 hours to take effect.
